Cultivating Connectedness through Mindfulness

PHOTO-2020-05-18-10-22-53.jpg

Saturday November 21

Mindfulness helps us draw awareness of what is going on in the present moment. Mindfulness comes into play when we breath, making us aware of every in- and out-breath.

This session of Mindfulness will be about connection. We will start off by building a connection with our body by listening to sounds of breathing. Then we’ll cultivate connection by connecting with our feelings of the day and hare how we feel during our session. Our last sense connectedness will be linked to the quality of love in our hearts by practicing loving-kindness for ourselves and each other. The loving kindness exercise will be a parent and child activity.

Date : Saturday November 21

Session 1: 9a to 10a PST | 12 to 1p EST| 18:00-19:00 (Rome Time)

Audience : Open to all parent & children (age 4-9) and early years/primary teachers
